The leaves are sometimes unlobed, sometimes trilobed. In the first case, they have a lanceolate shape. The base of the leaf is quite often cordate. The blade is dark green, taking on reddish hues in winter.

It is a fast growing variety that makes an excellent ground cover and does well in the sun.

History

This cultivar was discovered by Olivier Arcelus in his nursery, located at the time in Morvan, France.
