Description
Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Cheap Thrills’
In a nutshell
The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Cheap Thrills’ ; has a compact shrubby form.
This shape is due to a fasciation which increases the size of the leaves to form very large foliage, sometimes with an outgrowth in their center. The leaves are asymmetrical with 5 to 7 fan-shaped lobes, without really a central lobe. The blade is green with sometimes a slight reddening in winter.
This is a variety to be used as ground cover or in pots. As it ages, the clump produces shoots and becomes a beautiful, rather thick ground cover.
