Description
Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Classy Lassie’
In a nutshell
Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Classy Lassie’ , is a very pretty variegated variety that is sure to catch the eye.
The leaves are composed of 3 to 5 shallow, rather rounded lobes. The blade is dark green splashed with yellow and cream, beautifully matching the pinkish-red colours of the petioles and stems. In spring, the young leaves turn a superb buttery yellow colour. The stems are stocky and not very branchy. The internodes are short.
It is an ivy to be used in pots or in small places in the garden where it will not go unnoticed, preferably in a sunny location. It resists dryness well.
