Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Evergold’

The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Evergold’ , has pretty yellow variegated foliage which produces a beautiful effect as ground cover.
The leaves, quite small, are composed of 3 to 5 rounded lobes. They are splashed with green and gray-green and more or less widely edged with yellow. The base of the leaves is cordate. The stems are thin and well branched.
This ivy forms a beautiful colorful mattress, suitable both as ground cover and as a climber.
History
This cultivar was discovered by Helen Hall, Webbs Garden Centre, Worcestershire, UK in 1995.
