The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Golden Fleece’, is a good climber, with vigorous shoots.
The stems bear medium-sized leaves with 3 lobes, the central lobe being more elongated. The lateral lobes are almost at right angles to the median lobe. The leaf is recurved, wavy on the edges, or even sometimes curly.
The blade is sometimes yellow, but also light green or green with yellow spots. It loses these colors as it matures to become medium green.
