The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Golden Girl’, is a very attractive variegated ivy, fast growing and of medium height.
The leaves are composed of 5 well-rounded lobes with a fold at the edge. The lobes are so shallow that the leaf almost forms a circle. The blade is green with gray-green spots and yellow margins.
It is a sparsely branched, elegant and slender ivy, which discreetly dresses its support.
History
This cultivar was discovered in a supermarket by Hazel Key of Fibrex Nursery, UK, in 1992.
