The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Kevin’ , is an atypical and vigorous variety.
The leaves are medium-sized and irregularly lobed. They have a wrinkled surface, twisted at the edges, giving an original appearance of a wavy bubble. The color of the leaves is light green, the margin of the leaf is reddish in cold weather. Young shoots are green and purple.
It is an ivy that can be used as a climber or as ground cover, in the sun or in the shade. The internodes are short. It forms large masses of foliage.
History
This cultivar was selected in 2001 by the Fibrex nursery, United Kingdom.
