Description
Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Luzii’
In a nutshell
The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Luzii’, is very vigorous. It produces annual shoots one metre long. It is quite branchy.
Its foliage is grey-green yellow, speckled with darker green and grey-green. It takes on its colour in mid-summer, the young leaves are rather lighter.
This is an ivy to use on a wall, a slope or a tree trunk, preferably to the east or north, taking care to prune it in order to reduce its thickness. It can, in fact, form very large mattresses. It quickly passes into the adult phase in a sunny situation.
