Description
Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Melanie’
In a nutshell
The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Melanie’, is a very original ivy with foliage with wavy and curled edges, almost forming a ball sometimes.
The blade is bright green in the center, then paler green as it approaches the edges and a purple-violet on the narrow and wavy margins. The foliage colors are particularly attractive in winter and spring when it starts.
It is a well-branched and vigorous ground cover ivy. The internodes are long and the carpet quite thick. It brings color and texture to all situations.
History
