Description
Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Peter Pan’
In a nutshell
The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Peter Pan’, is characterized by its tiny, almost round green leaves, in the shape of a cup facing downwards, or sometimes upwards on new shoots. The leaf blade is slightly wrinkled, hairy and well-ribbed.
The plant has good branching with fasciate, stiff, dull green stems.
This ivy is particularly aesthetic in a pot, bringing a certain lightness with the bearing of its foliage.
History
This cultivar was introduced into cultivation in the United States before 1986. It is believed to be a fasciated mutation of ‘Duckfoot‘.
