Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Ralf’

The ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Ralf’, is quite similar to ‘Perkeo‘, its foliage is however lighter.
The leaves are heart-shaped or composed of 3 rounded lobes. The blade is initially quite light green-yellow, then it becomes medium green with age. It turns purple in cold situations or in case of stress.
This is an ivy to use as ground cover or in pots.
History
This cultivar was selected by the Stauss nursery, Germany, in 1970.
