Ornemental ivy – Hedera helix ‘Rüsche’

Ornamental ivy, Hedera helix ‘Rüsche’, is a vigorous ivy that grows quickly.
The leaf is generally composed of 3 to 5 asymmetrical lobes, very wavy, almost turned back on themselves and surrounding the stem. The blade is medium green, rather dull.
The veins are silvery green forming a nice contrast.
History
This cultivar was discovered by Brother Ingobert Heieck, of Neuburg Monastery, Germany in 1968. It is a mutation of ‘Professor Friedrich Tobler’.
