The leaf is variegated with shades of grey and grey-green and streaks of white, all edged with dark green. The variegation is very unstable.

This cultivar is particularly suitable as a houseplant or for hanging baskets.

History

This cultivar was selected by Emil Schaefer, Germany, in 1974. It is an improvement of ‘Schaefer One’ and ‘Schaefer Two’. They are derived from a mutation of ‘Merion Beauty’
