A new look at ivy ...

Does ivy purify the ambient air?

With its permanent foliage, ivy is known to eliminate formaldehyde and benzene, but also trichloroethylene and carbon monoxide, all chemicals that can be found in our homes or offices and some of which are carcinogenic.

Choose varieties with broad leaves to optimize its effect and let it develop in cascades or by climbing on a suitable support.

This way, not only will you decorate your home, but you will keep it healthy all year round.

Ivy in literature

“The ivy on the walls seemed to vibrate to the rhythm of the wind, a living breath.”

Jack London, “The Sea Wolf”
