Ornemental ivy – Hedera x soroksarensis ‘Silbermöwe’

The hybrid ivy, Hedera x soroksarensis ‘Silbermöwe’, has broad, triangular leaves with 3 slightly marked lobes.
The light green leaf blade is spotted with silvery grey and white with narrow, irregularly curled white margins. It turns pink in cold weather.
The stems are sparsely branched, long and thick. They turn black in winter.
History
This cultivar was discovered by Brother Ingobert Heieck of Neuburg Monastery, Germany in 1983. It is a mutation of ‘Woerneri’
